King’s Group Academies hosted a ‘meet the Principal’ evening at Newbold College on the evening of 15/06/2017.
Mrs. Sarah Howells has been appointed after a rigorous recruitment process and will commence her new role in January 2018. However, she will start making links with the local Primary Schools, parents and other key stakeholders including local businesses, community groups and the Local Authority, with immediate effect.
Following a rigorous interview process, the charitable trust has recently appointed a new CEO to lead the expanding Multi-Academy Trust (MAT).
Mr. Martindale has been Acting Headteacher since January 2017, following the retirement of Mrs Margaret Beel, former Headteacher, at the end of last year.
We hosted the first of many public meetings, attended by over seventy people regarding King’s Academy Binfield – the new name for Binfield Learning Village. It was held at Binfield Primary School for their parents.
The new Principal, who will be joining the school in the following months, was selected following a large number of applications from across the country. The rigorous two-day interview process involved parents, students, local primary school Headteachers, the Principal of nearby Plumpton College, Ringmer Governors and King’s Group Academies representatives.
King’s Group Academies, has been appointed sponsor of the new Binfield Learning Village.
